做外貿業務是要向個過慮器， 一方面要把工廠的優勢如何恰當的傳達給客戶。這就要求業務員要了解自己的產品，了解產品的技術特點，能知道同行業情況更好。
另一方面，要懂的把客戶的要求有效的給工廠，什么意思呢？ 客戶的要求很多，如果都讓工廠去滿足客戶要求，工廠會累趴下來的，要歸納，如廣交會，很多客戶信息，那些是對工廠未來發展最重要的，那些是要開發的款式，研究的技術，那些是個別要求。其實是要求業務員有準確分析和判斷，這個工作做好了。對工廠發展是很大幫助的。

客戶經常會把要采購的產品給業務看，如過我們能告訴客戶，這個產品大概是那里產的，有什么功能，價格是多少， 然后幫客戶分析采購什么會更好，客戶肯定信你的。
再進一步，你能通過名片溝通就可以分析出客戶的身份，采購額，大概的競爭對手（客戶的競爭對手），并告訴他你是如何去配合他接到訂單的。客戶鐵定會跟你打交道，甚至會相見恨晚。

這是站在戰略合作伙伴的身份和客戶溝通啊，客人是不可能拒絕你的。
當然這是要有相當的積累的。
